The dress was named Eureka, meaning the precise moment when you finally find your unique self. The designer believes that we are all in a life-long journey of finding our identity. And, when that magic moment happened, we feel just like a butterfly that gets rid of the cocoon that imprisons its soul and transforms into the most magnificent and shining self. The design was also inspired by the brand’s philosophy that ‘a girl should be like a butterfly. Pretty to see, and hard to catch.’ The Rubylith color was chosen because it not only represents the designer’s name Ruby, but also demonstrates the inner strength of its owner - a girl who believes strongly in her self and is indomitable in pursuing her dreams. The upper part of the dress was covered with French laces, beads and sequins, which twinkle when you move. They were entirely hand-sewn with the ancient Chinese embroidery techniques.
