Ruby Fang, known for glamorous, over-the-top, intricate designs, showed her SS19 collection “Morpheus” to 500 guests at NYFW: The Shows’ venue, Industria.

Gorgeous gowns with beautiful embroideries, appliques, and trains floated along the runway as phones and cameras flashed in an attempt to get the perfect shot. Creating the “Morpheus” collection was all about people who turn their dreams into realities. The Ruby Fang customer is one who creates, thrives, conquers, and inspires, and the designer wanted this to come across with her vision.

Mixing old techniques like ancient Chinese embroidery with futuristic textures and modern cutting linked Ruby Fang’s philosophy that history and future are intertwined to her apparel designs. Ruby Fang chose vibrant and sparkling fabrics to represent living life to the very fullest and decorated pieces with ancient Chinese embroideries and world-class craftsmanship to make her style distinct.

Eveningwear materials like silk, tulle, and sequins were used to create stunning gowns fit for any woman looking to make a statement at her next black tie event. Mock necks and sheer paneling forged an apparent sexy, yet sophisticated vibe while suiting pieces made by the label were fit for a strong, confident woman searching for an elevated ensemble that’s not the typical gown.

“Make your life a legend that worth telling” is the mantra that designer Ruby Fang follows and wished that each of her guests would spread her mission.

Notable attendees included Danielle Savre (Actress, Station 19), Sarah Summers (Miss USA), and Julie Mintz (Singer).
